The names of players such as Thiery Henry, Ronaldinho and Messi will forever be associated with FC Barcelona. Spanish F1 grand prix. 
At the
same location there is the annual MotoGP with the likes of Valentino Rossi racing.
There are also plenty of decent gyms in Barcelona City, in addition to Barcelona swimming pools and centres, although alternatively you can choose to go jogging on the boardwalk and swim in ocean!
Boating in Barcelona is worth considering if you love to get out on the water.
The Barcelona Open tennis tournament is also held annually and is worth trying to get tickets for if you are in the city. Barcelona and the surrounding area is also good for playing golf. There are a few golf courses and they are in scenic locations. You can also participate in a number of Barcelona corporate and hospitality events.
